Happy Cali. Trip 2009!!!

We were lucky enough to go to California for 5 days this past week with the Willis side of the family.
{We had a blast}
Here are a bunch of pictures from our adventures.
A {bunch} of pictures!

2 DAys of Disney Magic:

Just getting started.

About the middle of the ride.

By the end, Jake realized now he had the laser gun all to himself!

My ride partner, Hallie.

Carter, Grandma Shelley, and Ashlinn and McKenzie

Hallie and her look-a-like

Ashlinn, McKenzie, and Aunt Linz

Crew, Tate (still crying), and Jake

We were able to wrangle everyone for just long enough for {one pic.}

{Not two}

Crew realized that it was all make believe about half way through the day and enjoyed everything alot more.
{Please note the amount of food that took up residence on his shirt}

LOVE this Tater Tot.

Splash Mountain for those who met the height requirement (with and without gloves in their shoes) :)

Tigger and my little ladies

Me on my favorite ride, Small World. Don't laugh, it really is.

Because I am a self-proclaimed "ride sissy", I spent alot of time waiting and babysitting the kiddos who weren't tall enough.

Even in the happiest place on earth, kids get tired.

All of the grandkids {except those too young to sit on rocks}
Missing Brody and Alyse

The "Brother Bear" guys.
{Please note Tate was NOT affraid}

Sitting in a goofy taxi while Crew picks his nose.
{good times}

Sound asleep with their newly purchased overly-priced stuffed animals.

Baby Minnie and my baby Hallie

Mini Marie and Mini Ashlinn

At Redondo Pier:

Seagulls and Pelicans were fascinating.

It was super cold!

Crew loved the smell of the water

Yet again, a beautiful self portrait to add to our collection.

How cute is she!!!!

Uncle Travis caught a
"flying rat" aka pigeon for everyone to pet

{Hand sanitizer is good}

What else would you do on a frigid day?
Buy ice cream from a fish shop!!!

Tate's very first ice cream cone all to himself...so proud

{You knew what was coming didn't you?}
It is under that cabinet.

Lost..but not forgotten.

Although we had a fabulous time on our adventures and our kids were so good without naps and diner sometimes,

It was SO nice to drive through our city and pull up to our house.

THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME!!!!!!!

I was WONDERING where you went! :) Fun trip! I have not been back to the happiest place on earth since our senior trip. Sad life I lead. I love that you stuffed gloves in your shoes, got icecream when it was cold, and named Ashlinne's stuffed animal {Mini Marie} That is the name of our family's cat. Not just Marie, Mini Marie. Her mom was Marie, and she looked just like her, thus.... Mini. Small world :)

I love it. Great pictures. The best is when everyone ran out of the second "family" picture.

Did I seriously almost start crying when you said there's no place like home? Isn't it the truth though. What a blessing that home is such a happy place. Love ya!
