I typically wait until mid October, but I wanted to get them done... and be tan.
I am that vain.
When I booked our spot in August, I looked at the daily average highs for our date.
{i promise I am a crazy, where family photos are concerned}
The typical highs for September 13th were around 90 degrees.
I knew we could handle that.
I bought clothes, planned location, etc.
Ash was wearing a cardigan... and jake and tate were wearing flannel.
{bold? yes. Cute? totes.}
As the days got closer, I continually checked the forecast... each time the high temperature for our "picture day" got higher and higher.
It ended up being 106 degrees... and sickeningly humid that day.
I promise we all had awkward sweat rings.
{several places}
I drove away at the end thinking, "FAIL!"
"at least we tried!"
{and other optimistically pessimistic phrases}
Luckily, I was so happy to get some great photos back!
I wouldn't say they are my very favorites, but all I needed was one.
{and i got it!!}

I love them. The one with you walking in a row in the field is great! Ok, they are all great.
How will you ever pick??!! I think they all look great! I love the one of you and Jake looking at each other. And Macy's individual one is crazy sweet! And you are not vain to want to be tan! I call that good planning! :) My vanity is that we will most likely not even be taking family pictures this year. 30 lbs to lose equals me not caring to much to look back on these days :(
