2006 had been a crazy year for our family.
We had lived 3 different places from January to December.
{and by the end, we had finally settled into our new house}
{sigh of relief}
With things calmish, we decided to think about expanding our little family.
We researched health insurance and picked one.
{and did the math to figure out the timeline of when we could be prego and still be covered}
We waited the alotted time and prayed that we would leave the actual timeline up to the Lord and then began trying by summer 2007.
Much to our surprise, we were prego within a few weeks and we knew we would be cutting it close for delivery coverage date and delivery date.
{but we knew this was the Lords plan...so we had faith}
I was much less sick than I was with the girls, just super duper tired.
{and i mean TIRED}
I felt blessed that the girls would entertain themselves while I layed on the couch.
As expected, my belly grew as it came time for the ultrasound.
Jake REALLY hoped he would be a boy.
{and so did I}
Sure enough, at the appointment, we saw his "boy parts", and laughed in excitement.
We had already picked his name and it seemed to fit.
{although Jake was still hoping I would change my mind and name him Nash}
We decorated his room, and got new boy clothes.
Then our insurance company threw us a curveball and said they changed their policy and his birth wouldn't be covered anymore.
{unless we could wait 6 more months to deliver}
{not gonna happen}
I freaked out, our baby was coming in a few weeks and we had NO coverage
We fasted and prayed, then wrote letters to the state insurance commision that may be able to help.
{finally the change was overturned...no small miracle}
{another sigh of relief}
With everything ready,
Tate Dahl Willis decided it was his time to come the day before his due date.
{jake and I stayed up and laughed all night while I was in labor, and played games until 2 minutes before his birth}
As we looked at his dark hair and into his big eyes, we knew he was a blessing straight from heaven.
{ a little missionary in the making}
