We {love} fall break, yes we do. We {love} fall break, how 'bout you?

We had 2 weeks {plus 2 days} of fall break around here.

{it was completely fantastic}

Besides 2 birthdays and a baptism, we tried not to relax too much.

{so we enjoyed all kinds of spontaneous awesomeness}

 For example:

watching darling Macy dress and redress herself everyday.

skirt, shirt and pants on backwards.

We headed to the museum of natural history.

aka "dinosaur museum"

They really enjoyed all of the exhibits and activities!

{obviously}

well, the panning for gold was a little more difficult than some of us anticipated...

But with a little help, we cheered right up!

One of my goals for fall break was to make a halloween banner for our dining room.

I was realistic about it and chose a design I could make from start to finish in 30 minutes.

Part of me wishes I had done it up a little fancier, but well, time wasn't on my side.

{i can always change it up a bit.}

The girls had their little bff's over for a craft day and hair doing party too.

{2 words...puffy paint}

{period.}

We didn't stick to our original routine much since we were squeezing in activities.

 but that didn't bother Macy, she just  found a comfy spot one afternoon...

{and passed out cold}

we couldn't stop laughing... until jake's feet cramped up. :)

We also have a tradition at our house.

During school vacay's the kiddos can choose to sleep on the couch, if they want.

Since we got some new much larger couches, everyone can fit.

{the boys were so thrilled to join the tradition!}

We also soaked up some warm October sunlight by spending hours and hours at different parks.

Where we hauled along bikes, scooters, and enough snacks for a week.

{or two}

{we gotta get these boys a bike with real pegs}

School breaks wouldn't be complete without movie nights!

{and WWE style couch cushion fighting}

step 1, put all pillows and cushions into a large pile.

step 2, have dad pretend to sleep.

step 3, have dad toss you into the pile of fluff.

step 4, don't get hurt.

And a willis break wouldn'tbe complete without a random trip to the desert.

{would it?}

School started again today.

{i missed seeing a few of these darling faces}

I may be totally selfish, but I really enjoy not having to share them for weeks at a time.

Although I was able to clean and hear myself think today

{at the same time}

imagine that!!!
