We had a full fledged girls weekend!
The men drove away on their hunting extravaganza.
And the very first girls only party began!
Things went a little differently than we had planned.
(due to a menacing fever and being sent home from school sick)
Bummer.
We just decided to spend a little more time at home having a blast!
By Friday lunch time between prayers and motrin ash was feeling up for school.
Leaving me and Macy for a few hours together.
Just us two.
It was so fantastic to focus on her for that time.
Loved it.
Friends came over for a playdate and then it was date night.
The girls picked dinner at abuelos and dessert at swirl it.
(where we took pics and messed with them on the iPads)
We did Mani and pedi's at home while wearing mud masks and watching mr poppers penguins.
We crammed all of us into my bed and stayed up late .
I wanted to put time in slow motion.
After a morning movie, we were thrilled to welcome the handsome, yet stinky boys back.
I look forward to many more years of girls weekends.
I can't wait to see what next year brings!
