My favorite quote...

I have lots of favs.
(But here are 2)

(I am gonna count scriptures as a quote too)

"Don't give up what you want most, for what you want right now." - I am not sure who actually get credit for this. It's been repeated by lots of church leaders though.
Good one huh?

And...

"Be still and know that I am God."

This is repeated in my head almost daily.
I am a planner.
I like to plan out entire days, weeks, and years.
I need to often be reminded that I am not the one who is in charge.
It is God.
My plans are not always His plans.

I need to always do my best, but be willing to hear Him.
And then follow.
(Even if some of my "plans " remain undone.
