The past {week}

Tate was feeling a little under the weather, but that also meant that he let us snuggle him.
{I have spent more time in my car than at my house}

{We got 4 baby chicks}

{One for each kiddo}

{Ashlinn named hers browny}

{Hallie named hers Mrs. Peep Peep Jasmine Willis}

Crews was railroad (it had stripes down its back)

Tate's was "hairdo"...note the chicken fro.

{Hours of fun}

{farm chores}

Jake bought some "wife beaters" at Wal mart (where else?) and put them on our boys and Ethan our neighbor also sported the Classy tank top.

{We woke up Sunday...2 days after getting the baby chicks and we only found 1 left. No feathers. Darn neighborhood cats.}

{The reaction}

{followed by the "plan of salvation" talk}

Oh no, please let it be Mrs. Peep Peep Jasmine Willis. Poor kids. Never fun to lose a pet. I remember when ole father ran over our slightly retarded cat, Maisy. It was a sad day. We didn't get the plan of salvation talk. What good parents you are.
* The wife beaters are VERY classy :)

Where did the little chicks go? Do you really think neighborhood cats got them? That's creepy. Speaking of creepy...wife beaters?? J.K. The boys are so cute in that picture. The plan of salvation is a MUST when a pet dies. We've had our share.

Yes, I would like to know which chick was spared. Im guessing by Ashlinn and Hallie's reaction it wasn't theirs:( Are you sure they weren't just hoarded and are in Ashlinns top bunk or Crew's backpack?

The reaction pictures are priceless. Hallie thrown back on the couch is hilarious. Love it.
